These are short, relevant items that people can “interact” with — by commenting, sharing with their friends and followers, and “liking”. All of these actions boost your social media reach, help you engage with your clients and prospects, and reach new potential clients.

You can post each item manually, or you can load it into a social media tool such as that will automatically “drip” the material out to your social media feeds at the time of your choosing.

Note About Engagement: It is important that you do more than just post this content and walk away. Other people will respond, like, share, and engage in discussions. It is important for you to participate in that discussion, and even prompt your readers with questions like, “What do you think of this?” or “How can you use this tax tip in your business?”. Social media is all about engagement and participation, so don’t neglect that opportunity. But at the same time, don’t spend too much time on it. Social media marketing should be about a 10 minute per day activity (or less).
