While “taxpayer representation” is mostly about working on the 12 million IRS Collections cases, the Service’s nearly 1 million Examination (aka, audit) cases each year provide another lucrative revenue stream for your practice. But how do you get started?
This basic 1-hour CE/CPE course will introduce attendees to the fundamentals of IRS audit cases. Students will learn how the IRS audit process works, identify the key components of a case, learn how the IRS looks at a taxpayer’s books and records, and how to formulate a representation strategy.
This 1-hour CPE class starts on January 27 at:
- 7:30am PST
- 8:30am MST
- 9:30am CST
- 10:30am EST
That is not a typo: This class will start on the half-hour. We like to try new things occasionally. 🙂
Note: This class will be presented via Zoom. After registering, you’ll receive a link to the Zoom session.
