Live Tax Resolution Training

Learn how to evaluate IRS Collections cases for appropriate resolution and what the most common resolution options are for tax debtors.

This basic-level online training will cover the origin of federal tax liabilities, the basics of tax liens and the IRS Collections process, and the basics of the major resolution options we have available to us as practitioners to help our clients.

This 1-hour webinar should be viewed as a “survey class”, and will lightly touch on a number of topics relevant to the process of resolving client tax debts. You will leave this session with an understanding of the overall IRS Collections case work process and be better positioned to evaluate client situations for appropriate resolution.

To reiterate: This is a *basic*, introductory level class. It is intended mainly for those tax professionals that have very little prior exposure to IRS Collections case work. More than anything else, the goal is for you to leave this session with a better understanding of what tax resolution even is, and help you determine whether or not it’s a service you’re interested in offering within your practice.

Bonus Q&A Session: After the 50-minute CPE class, we’ll do a special Q&A session for about 30 minutes, where you’ll have the chance to ask me your most pressing tax resolution questions. I don’t do this very often, so take advantage of it while you can!

Note: This class is hosted via Zoom. After registration, you will receive a link to access the Zoom session.

Course Objectives

  • Explain how tax debts arise and how the IRS goes about collecting them.
  • Define the statutory basis of federal tax liens.
  • Identify the most common IRS debt resolution programs and the benefits of each.

Special Bonus: When you register for this webinar, you will also receive a complimentary special issue of The Profitable Accountant newsletter as a PDF. This special issue contains my Tax Resolution Daily Marketing Checklist plus Real Life Fee Example Guide.
