Today is the first day of the rest of your business year.
Are you heading to the Bahamas? Or do you still have revenue goals to hit?
Whichever course you’re taking, take it. Go at it with 100%, just as if tax season was still in full swing — you’re just doing something different.
That’s really the extent of my advice today. Keep pushing hard, regardless of what you’re doing. For me, it’s shifting back into writing mode, and taking on one new collections case.
Just a quick reminder: If you want the discount on Matthew Williamson’s taxpayer representation bootcamp on May 10-11, you need to register now. Collections and audit representation can add tens of thousands of dollars per month to your bottom line as a solo practitioner, and if you learn best in a live group setting, then you won’t want to miss this two day workshop – register now!
If you’re still struggling to figure out what you want the rest of your year to look like, that’s OK, too. I’ll be covering this in more depth later this week, but for now, I’ve got two questions for you:
- Have you made all the money you need or want to make for 2013?
- If not, do you have a written plan in place for hitting your 2013 revenue goal?
We’ll address this matter in our next article.
